Chocolatey Goodness Nicecream Bowl

My typical summer evening consists of heading out to cross country practice at 5:50 and getting back with a pretty solid workout under my belt at about 8:30 pm. I love running in the evening but that tends to really mess up my eating schedule when I come back and don't even really sit down to eat until 9 or 9:30 at night. Today, I decided to try and tackle that issue by preparing something somewhat healthy and satisfying so when I get home at night I'll already have a little meal ready. Introducing the chocolatey goodness nicecream bowl!

I've been seeing recipes for nicecream all over the place and finally decided to give it a try. What I did was put all the ingredients together during the afternoon then put them in the freezer until I came home from practice for a cool, fulfilling treat!

Here is what you will need:
 2 tablespoons of any yogurt
1/3 cup of almond milk
1 tbsp of cocoa powder (unsweetened)
 Half of an avocado
1 small banana (I cut about 2 inches off of this one)
A spoonful of peanut butter to your liking
A sprinkle of chocolate chips to your liking
I just blended these ingredients (minus the chocolate chips) on the chop and mix setting for a total of 1 minute stirring it up every so often. After pouring the mixture into a bowl, I sprinkled the chocolate chips on top and put it in the freezer for about 5 hrs. I'm sure it doesn't actually take that long to freeze but I kept it in there anyways because I wasn't ready to eat yet.

If only I saved some left to take pictures! By the end, I had a brown mixture that kind of resembled chocolate ice cream- delish! One note: after freezing for a while, thaw it in the fridge for a bit for the perfect texture.
